Hello! My name is Chase Wagoner! I am a recent graduate of the Professional Photography Program at Hawkeye Community College. I majored in Portrait Photography with a minor in Digital Technologies. I received my degree in the spring of 2019, my time at hawkeye was one of the greatest!
Besides photography I love to read, run, and drink my weight in french vanilla iced coffee. When I’m not shooting or editing you can find me in my favorite chair with a good book. I found my passion for portrait photography when I was living in Boone, Iowa attending DMACC on track to enroll in an interior design program. It was there I realized I actually love taking pictures and decided to pursue what was my hobby and turn it into a career. So I uprooted my life and took a chance and have LOVED every second of it!
I am from the small town of Iowa Falls, Iowa but now live in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I think I love photography so much because I am an organizer, I love turning chaos into organized chaos. That’s one of the many things that I find so awesome about photography, no session is the same; you never know what challenges are going to be thrown at you and you just roll with it. I wouldn’t even consider photography work because when you love your job this much, it’s never work!
