Jaclyn captured these two perfectly; she is not only their photographer, but she’s also Kerry’s cousin. Kerry and Cut are getting married on September 15th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Earlville, with a reception following at Worthington Memorial Hall in Worthington. Jaclyn is so excited to document their wedding!
Kerry and Curt met three and a half years ago on a blind date set up by mutual friends. When asked what makes them most excited when they think of marriage, they answered “We are most excited about spending the rest of our lives together. Always having a support system, a person to vent to after a bad day, and knowing at the end of the day we have each other. Yes, we already have that now, but something about saying we are getting married makes it mean so much more.”

“The previous Christmas I had booked a hog hunting trip to Texas with my dad and Curt. Little did I know at the time, they had teamed up and gave me quite the surprise! Curt knew I would pack our bags as I am the planner out of both us, so he had my dad bring the ring in his suitcase. Somehow Curt had gotten the ring from the suitcase to the binocular bag before we went out for the evening hunt. We had just gotten in the hut and he kept asking for his binoculars and I couldn’t figure out why he needed them right this second as they were in the bottom of the bag. As soon as I got the binocular bag out, he grabbed it from my hands, saying he saw something he needed to look at. When I finished putting stuff back in the bag, I turned to see a shiny object in his hand and he said “Will you marry me?” I was so shocked that I didn’t even say yes right away and he had to ask again, even though he already knew the answer. Not only did he propose, but he also shot his first hog within a half hour afterwards! We all came home with hogs that weekend, but also a wonderful memory too!”
